Class Piano Instruction is offered for 6 quarters (2 years) at SFCC music
department and meets twice a week. Music 176 is intended for the general population of
beginner piano students who have had little or no training. All other class piano courses
offered follow chronologically by experience and level of difficulty. Please note that not
all courses are offered each quarter. In order to determine if a student can place out of
a class and into a more advanced piano class, an optional placement exam can be arranged
by the student with the instructor.
